The day of lovers and secret affairs is approaching.
Love, Sex and Rock ’n’ Roll are stronger than Death itself.
Consume it all before you're damned.
Happy Valentine’s Day … or not.
Haunted by documentaries on domestic violence and femicides — fueled by jealousy, control, or adultery — I revisited the original sketch.
The phrase “until death and beyond” from the first drawing becomes “until death do us part”, a deliberate echo of the vow of union, but also of its tragic distortion when it leads to murder.
This second version, intentionally more violent and bloody, seeks to reflect the harsh reality described by investigators.
It examines the paths of horror on which humans can go astray, under the guise of temporary madness or uncontrollable impulses.
This illustration is intended both as a denunciation of these violences and as a tribute to the disappeared.
If some form of existence persists beyond death, may they rest in peace — and may the perpetrators of these acts be damned forever.
